For the love of her sister

Mikaela and her sister are great friends and love each other so much, more often than not! Well her sister is obsessed - and we really mean that literally - with kittens, cats, felines. Mikaela drew this picture for her as a birthday present. Isn't it sweet? We will frame it because it is done on the black construction paper with colored pencils. We are really amazed by it and know that Eliana will love it so much!

About the Artist

At the age of 1 Mikaela picked up a crayon and began to draw, we bought her a big pad of drawing paper and she would spend hours drawing. By age 2 when we would ask her what did she draw and she would tell us it was exactly what she said it was! We were amazed! There were always scraps of paper around our house with her little drawings as she explored her world and then recorded it through art. By age 6 we knew we needed to help her develop an obvious gift so we enrolled her in art classes and began her exposure to all the mediums of art. Her gift immediately became very evident to her teacher and we were relieved to find out we weren't behaving like "those parents"! This site is to share with you all the works of art Mikaela has worked on since her start in art classes. This gift is one from God and we pray that he will show her how she can use it for his glory as she matures! We hope you enjoy!
